location and history of the place. Just google the Piazza della Repubblica in Florence and you can see that on the fourth floor is the Pension Pendini. You arrive and hotel is on the fourth floor. We are very welcome and we start to walk without problems. Beds and rooms are excellent. Security box. installations were new and rooms were spacious. good predisposition of the staff in everything we asked. Excellent breakfast. the kindness of the people who attended was impressive, They make for an excellent day. Florencia we did it with a local guide. Sonia Sanchez (easy to google), We had already done it without a guide many years ago and with this guidance she gave us a wonderful and profound vision of Florence. We also did the tour of Pisa. San gimignano and Siena with the people of https://www. mytours, it/es/tours/destination/florencia. It was worth it and very well coordinated.
There was no problem or difficulty.

decoration of the rooms, varied breakfast with fresh products, kindness of Mr Lando at the breakfast table who was present in every detail and personalized attention of Mr Marco at the reception. All very attentive to recommend us places to eat and directions how to get there. Even though they don't have a kettle in the room I asked for hot water and they brought me a thermal pitcher that lasted several hours. attentive.
We ordered a taxi from the hotel to go to SM Novella station which is 6 or 7 blocks away but as it was raining we didn't want our bags to get wet. Not only I charge 15 euros, trip that costs 7 euros, taxi driver told us that it cost that xq it was Sunday, because we had suitcases, that waited us 1 minute down and 3 euros more x q we asked for it from the hotel. We said goodbye to Florence and felt cheated. We didn't ask for a taxi from the hotel.

Excellent location, right next to the Plaza de la Republica. We were two adults and two children. very large quadruple room, divided in two, hall where there was a single bed and main room where there was a double bed and a single bed. I had two televisions, one in the hall and one in the master bedroom. bathroom was spacious and very nice. high ceilings, gave more sense of spaciousness. elegant and classic common spaces and another thing that called our attention was how good it smelled. They use an air freshener with an aroma that we loved. breakfast, buffet type, complete and varied, sweet and salty food. staff, attentive and friendly. I recommend this hotel to everyone who visits Florence.
Opening of the dining room for breakfast at 7:30. Seems too late to me.

An excellent location right in the heart of Florence! A beautifully appointed hotel with comfortable and clean rooms. The breakfast which is included is a nice touch and offers a variety of items to get the day started. I would not hestitate to stay at this hotel again as well as recommend it to others. The staff is very helpful; especially Alessandro LaRosa who went out of his way to offer helpful information and assistance to us in getting around Florence as well as helping us organize a guided day trip to Siena and San Gimignano. His professional and polite manner are to be commended.

Comfortable and very clean room, although the bathroom is a bit too big. comfortable beds. Old decoration but very comfortable, with a lot of personality of a historical hotel like this one. attentive and friendly staff, complete breakfast, quality. Excellent location, only 10 minutes from the station and 2 minutes from the Duomo. We had already been to this hotel years ago and were delighted. Again, great stay, to appreciate the improvements in access by adding a second lift and decoration in the stair area.
All in all, correct. Just to indicate some suggestions for improvement would indicate that there is no refrigerator inside the room (although there is in the communal corridor), that the dining room is not very small, leaving very little space to move between the tables and breakfast buffet. come on, it is a fantastic place and we recommend it without hesitation.

We are a mature couple and spent our first night in Italy at the Hotel Pendini. It was centrally located. The staff was lovely and helpful. The hotel was beautifully elegant. Our room was small but adequate/ And breakfast was ample and delicious. Would definitely return when back in Florence. Highly recommend this hotel. Jill & Ken
